Weddings are one of the few times in our lives when we can truly celebrate who we are.
How? By having a celebrant-led ceremony tailored to reflect your personality and character while demonstrating and celebrating a momentous occasion between two people in love.

Would you have dreamed about having a ceremony on a Norfolk beach with your family and friends in attendance?
You can, how? By using Ashley George, a Professional Celebrant, with the qualifications, ability and experience to create a celebration ceremony turning your dreams into reality.
Being a little quirky myself, I use my imagination to create a ceremony so unique and memorable no two celebrations are ever the same.

Where do we begin? Over coffee of course! One question I ask my couples is:
Do you want a celebrant who listens and implements your ideas?
Having an initial chat over coffee is a barrier breaker as it gives us all the opportunity to get to know each other and for each of us to make the decision can we work together?

Discussing your ideal location is fun. There are so many wonderful venues to choose from in Norfolk from the beach to windmills, barns to historic houses, the list is endless in this wonderful county.

Why am I writing this blog?
My enthusiasm overwhelms me that I just wish to work with you, to provide exactly the dream day you wished for.

How did I get my knowledge?
I trained with Civil Ceremonies Ltd, Ofsted registered and classed as an outstanding provider training company in the UK. Anne Barber and her team are well known in the industry for training registrars and celebrants. www.civilceremonies.co.uk

Why use a Celebrant?
I will take the time to get to know you so that they can assist you in creating a truly personalised ceremony for you and your partner. Among the elements that make you day special is the opportunity to write personalised vows with the assistance of myself, can provide ideas, starting points, and sample vows.
My role will also include incorporating any personal or religious elements into your ceremony.

What is changing in the wedding industry?
With The Law Commission proposing a fairer system that gives couples more choice over where and how their wedding takes place.
The Commission recommends a new system that would focus regulation on the marriage officiant responsible for the ceremony, rather than on the building. https://www.lawcom.gov.uk/project/weddings.

Currently, celebrants in England can create a wedding celebration; however, legal formalities will require a couple to complete these with the local registry office; However, hopefully, this is changing. In Scotland, for example, the celebrant can complete the ceremony by including the formal marriage contract. Many wedding celebrants in England want parity with Scotland to give couples an increased and broader range of options.

I’m ready for any change going forward. Having recently achieved a National Qualification - NOCN Level 3 Diploma in Naming and Couples Celebrancy (RQF) This follows on from my previous success to obtain the National Qualification - NOCN Level 3 Diploma in Funeral Celebrancy (RQF) Both qualifications are the highest possible in the UK.

Do you wish to have a unique, personalised wedding celebration ceremony?
Your next step is to get in contact, let us chat over coffee and see if we’re a match willing to be creative together.

Let's get going!
