Hello, I came to Wood Farm with a group of friends Monday evening. I just thought I would fill you in on things that did not register with me at the time, but since speaking with my parents do now. It wasn’t a red tricycle but it was a small red bike, my first which my Nan taught me to ride. My Dad did fix the stabilisers with a nail and they did have a yellow disk in the centre of their wheel as you described in detail. The name Miriam I didn’t know, but according to Mum, it was little girl my Nan looked after for a family in the village. She did this for a few years in her younger life, and she did have a mole on her face that had to be removed, I’d forgotten all about that. The lady in front in the blue, T, was with our party and the July date was when they first took over the pub they are now in. Also the reference to Peter, he is a local who drinks in the pub and T always says he is the spitting image of her Dad, it suddenly dawned on us on the way home who Peter was. |
'C', our loud friend, had confirmed by the people she bought the house from, that there were stairs leading up from the kitchen which are no longer there, and the November date is her nieces birthday. A big thank you once again for an uplifting evening……….. |
